• Things to do in the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah

Excellence of the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah

    ▪ Ibn Hajar has mentioned in his book (Fath al-Bari): “The reason for the excellence of the first ten days of Zul-Hijjah is that the Muslim can perform in them the main kinds of worship which are prayer, fasting, charity and Hajj, while he can't gather all these kinds of worship in the other days of the year.”

    First ten days of Dhul-Hijjah

    ▪ The Prophet said: “There are no days on which good deeds are greater or more beloved to Allah than on these ten days, so recite much Tahleel (saying Laa ilaaha ill-Allah), Takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) and Tahmeed (saying Alhamdu Lillaah).”
